Picking cherries.

My family and I are still traveling. But just now, I've found some time to come back and share a few words and photos.
Last week, we spent time with some friends. Right next to their house there was a beautiful tree, that every summer brings life to the biggest, juiciest and sweetest cherries one could ever taste. So many there were, that even after filling two buckets all the way to the top, the tree still was still covered in them, as though every time a cherry was plucked, a new one would take its place.

It was absolutely wonderful.
Do you have a favorite fruit?

Beach favorites.

Every time my family comes back from a trip, I enjoy cuddling up on the couch with my computer, perhaps with some chocolate on the side, and look through all the pictures I took during the trip. I pick out my favorites, and while doing so, the created memories run through my mind. Last night, I picked out my beach favorites.

Needless to say, Isabel absolutely loves to jump over the small waves as they slide on the shore.

He knows what should be.

The ocean. That being the place where I am, is the reason for my absence from blogging. But right now, having a short amount of time, I sit down to write this. During these past few days, all I've been doing is enjoy the world till I cannot anymore. I've been spending the days waking up to beautiful warm mornings complete with the perfect sound of birds singing with the wind, along with the crashing ocean waves. And during the day, I've been going to the beach. Oh, how I love it. Just the sight and sound of it are enough to please my heart.

Ocean has always reminded me of life. I see it reflected on every wave that falls upon the sand. It reminds me, and makes me think that it is just like it. The water goes and comes, back and forth, and always has. And some waves bring happiness, while others bring sadness and destruction. At times there is peace and calm, while at others there is confusion and an unsteady ground.
And we are in this life. We are moving along with it. We are walking its ups and downs, sometimes with  tears of joy and others with sorrow. It sure is a crazy ride, but He is in control. He is. And our human flesh sometimes finds it easy to forget that. It moves us and deviates us.
Sometimes we wonder why certain things happen in certain ways, we wonder why some waves destroy while others don't. We wonder why we do or do not this-or that- or why some things must be the way they are. Truth is, our sinful soul and human mind cannot understand such things, so all we must do is put our trust in Him. He knows the answers to all the things we wonder and yet do not know their meaning, He knows why some waves are peaceful and some are deceiving.
We don't. And that's okay.
Because life goes on, just like the ocean waves, ruled under His control and steady hand to guide unsteady ones like us. He brings happiness just at the right time. He brings unhappiness just at the right time. And all of this is for a purpose- a perfect plan for us, while we still live in this world. He knows what is best while we walk towards Heaven. He never fails to make things His way.
God never stops the ocean, never stops its waves. He never stops doing what's best for us.
He never fails to be perfect.

Someone beautiful.

Last week I had the opportunity to photograph a sweet friend of mine, whom I dearly love. Her beautiful complexion, her cheerful character, and joyful heart made up for my perfect kind of model- and perfect session. Every time my finger pressed the shutter, it is as if my heart smiled, not only hoping, but knowing it would be a beautifully captured image the one being created.

Is she not beautiful?
After taking these, we realized the sun had almost gone down. The lighting was not as good anymore. So, we decided to continue the day after.... in a different place: a field next to a lake... what a perfect setting. The green grass contrasting with the sky matched perfectly well with her light blue dress and beautiful brown hair.
She's a lover or twirling... a lover of dancing.... a lover of happiness. A lover of fun.
Dear Elizabeth, I hope you liked your photos. I can't wait for the next time we get together for more.
Happy Monday.

beauty of a blue night.

Every night is special; special and beautiful.
Bright blue nights illuminated by a full moon are beyond beautiful.
During twilight, the clouds begin to fly away, past the mountains, across the horizon, together; painting a sweet and last good bye on the sky.
And all the colors above us, all of them except those hues of blue, just swirl away too.
Then the perfect shining blue light comes, spilling its beauty upon everything under the sky.
There it is: the magic of the night. And all of it evenly reflected on the stillest lake.
And when most of the light is gone, you look up one more time, one last time. There's a full moon- round and silvery, staying; remaining there 'till morning comes again. It's a full moon night.

Black and white. {sceneries}

There's something very special about black and white. It can transform a something simple into something beautiful. There are so many wonderful  photographers out there whose main focus is black and white, and their photos are breathtaking. Whenever I take a look them, they inspire me greatly.
Flipping back through my pictures, I took some and turned them into black and white. I focused mainly on sceneries; many of them which were taken in the beautiful European world last summer.

Los Cabos- {part three}

On the last day, we went to the marina to see if we could get a boat that would take us to see the famous rocky arch in the ocean. We walked for a while under the sun, (not to mention it was one of the hottest days of the week), and when we finally got there, one of the men working there told us it was closed.

Despite the little disappointment and mainly the heat of the sun soaking and wearing us out, the marine was fun to walk around and take photos.

This bird was just stunning. Beautiful. Flying right next to the magic of the sun.

Once back from the marine, we all decided to swim in the ocean. The water was really cold, but absolutely worth it after walking under the sun for so long.

The waves were incredibly big!

Perfect. A cold strawberry smoothie on such a hot day? (Not to mention it was two for one?)

And then we got a picture of the three of us. :)

All I can really say is that it was a wonderful week. That's it.
Thank you my friends, for inviting me! I had such a good time! I can't wait till next time :)
I also want to point out, that I took my friend's senior photos during the trip, and they will be up in the next entry, so keep checking!
Happy Wednesday.
