Macro Monday

How about pulling out a colorful box of watercolors on a rainy day? Perfect. It is one of those days when I feel inspired to be creative, maybe sketch or paint. So many ideas come to mind while the rain and wind dance around the house and and knock lightly on the glass windows.
What makes you feel inspired?

Macro Monday

I can't stick to one photo today.... I just can't! A couple of Mondays ago I posted a picture of a really pretty rose. Looking through my recent photos I found how I had taken more than just that one. So, if please forgive my number of images in this post, but sometimes it's impossible to narrow to one photo.
Plus, these roses were absolutely beautiful.

The colors are so vivid and beautiful. Is anybody ready for spring yet?

This is my entry for the weekly color photo play at Project 64. The color is lavender; and I think this photo fits well :)

Well, that probably wasn't as many pictures as I made it sound in the beginning. :)
Happy Monday!

♥PS- Stay tuned, because this week I'll be most likely having my first photo challenge! I'm excited, and I think it's about time. Also, in one of my last posts I asked if some of you would be interested, and I got a pretty good number of people who said they would enjoy participating.

Macro Monday

I took this photo of a flower which my sister made out of cupcake liners! I focused mainly on the very center of the flower in order to get the rest blurry. And the blue background made great contrast with the light yellow tone of the paper.
Happy Monday!

Macro Monday

This is not a picture of my guitar. This one belongs to a good friend of mine, and I took it this summer in Europe. I used a medium opened aperture in order to get a blurry effect. I did not want it super blurry though, so I chose my main point of focus to be right the middle of the strings. If you go up a little, it's blurry, same as if you look down.
Happy Monday!

Macro Monday

I love macro photography. There are so many beautiful things you can spot by looking through a macro lens. It's wonderful. I have to confess, sometimes I have way too many macro photographs. So, I have decided a good way to show them would be by writing "macro monday" post every monday (obviously.) This way it'll be easier to share those photographs with you! What do you think? Good idea, right?
I'll try to stick to one shot every monday. But trust me, it won't always be possible.
So, today's macro shot:

I totally loved this rose! It's tones of yellow and pink mixed together perfectly well. This flower looks rather magical to me.
Happy monday!
