On my sister's birthday, she invited one of her friends over. She had lots of fun, and we did, too! We had really good pizza for lunch and chocolate mud pie for dessert (Want the recipe? The flowers add a nice touch too). Then I played with both my sister and her friend all evening. I helped them fly their "fish kite". I absolutely love playing with little kids. They make me smile. It was a good day!
Oh, and the celebration is not over! Tomorrow Saturday, she is having her main birthday party with most of her friends.
This is the mud cake. Looks pretty real :)
And also, I would like to give special thanks to mom, who helped me work on the new design for my blog!

I am your mom's friend (we met on Challies.com I think!)and today she suggested I take a peek at your "pixels" blog. I'm glad I did! I kept looking for the mud pie cake...you fooled me with the flower box! I finally realized that THAT was the mud pie cake:) Very nice.
