Fall Colors

Why do I love fall? The answer is simple. It can be written in 4 words. Colors, weather, sweaters, pie. These are the things that bring life to this season! Here in Mexico we really don't have all of our trees turn into the vivid fall colors. But the ones that do are beautiful! I love them. Orange, brown, yellow, orange, and red. Also, whenever fall comes I feel like going outside for a walk with a nice warm sweater on, and walk under the colored trees surrounded by crisp weather. And as to the pie... well, who could forget it? It's the perfect season to make and bake delicious pies. Pumpkin, apple, pear, peach... So many flavors. This is how I feel when fall comes around. Here are a few fall pictures that I've taken in the past few days. I hope you enjoy them!

How does fall make you feel?

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year as well because of the harvest, the colors of the maple, birch, and aspen leaves change from the spring/summer green into the yellow, orange, and red. This is the photo opportunity season for us up here in the Northwest as well as the time where we must prepare for the upcoming winter. Ahhh the coming winter, the only downside to fall. Splitting firewood, gathering food from the garden, and the hunting season is our daily life and these moments seem to be the ones we as humans tend to remember the most thus the need for proper documentation. Its nice to see that some aspects of this are still carried out in Mexico.

I love fall too! :) The cool, crisp air and the crunch of leaves under my boots. And of course baking pies! Mmmm.
