On little things

Ready for the weekend. This week has been a tough one, filled with classes and homework, and a couple other things. But today it is Friday, which means it is almost the weekend. I'm ready to go outside today, enjoy the sunshine, take some photos, and do some reading. It'll be a good day.

Psalm 8:1. "OH Lord our Lord how majestic is your name in all the earth, who has set thy glory on the heavens." Short, but beautiful. I love this verse.... And I've been pondering it all morning.

♥ Dew Drops. I just like waking up every morning to see them delicately lying on fresh green spring leaves. They are always just so perfect.
My sister's smile. It's always so sweet, always so pretty, along with the ways her eyes sparkle with the evening sunlight. I really don't know what I'd do without her... Besides being my "perfect" model for post of my photos, she is the best 7 year-old sister in the world.

My brother's blog. He recently started one, and it is definitely worth looking at. Just go HERE.

My guitar. Last summer I decided I wanted to play guitar. In October, my dad got me an acoustic one. And I absolutely love it. I would not say that I'm the "really good" guitar player, but practicing every day helps. And I love the sound of it. (credits to my mom for the picture.)

Playing with aperture. I took this photo the other day when my mom took us out for ice cream. I am not sure how I decided to get a shot like this, but playing with aperture and focusing only on the tip of my scarf, I got it. Pretty creative, I thought. :)

Rainy days. A couple of days this week, it rained. The plants and flowers finally got some fresh water to drink after a long and dry winter. I cannot wait for more rainy days like those to come... They are my favorite.

Little things matter.
Hoping you all have a beautiful Friday,
-Annie
